A trip to Arles to further explore my door fetish and sleepy French chats

Bon Jour

Hello from my little French cabin in the Olive field.  Today Marcus took me to Arles to a bank to cash travellers cheques.  Do not bother they are hard to cash and cash machines are everywhere and most places take Visa so just pay of your Visa jump on a plane and come to France.

The south of France is very beautiful, extremely hot, but the villages and towns are enchanting.  It is the stuff of Fairy Tales.  Arles is an old Greek and Roman city and again charming and quaint.  I saw my first real live Italian/Roman Ruins and got quiet excited.  All those pictures in Art History books don't quiet measure up to the real thing.  I do regret not going on to other places as I am here but needs must, as they say.  As soon as I find THEY I shall pop them on the head and let them know I am not amused.

Anyway Italy and Germany are another trip and will bring my man with me as I miss him to much so it much easier for me to have him come too.

Again I must thank Jessica for the camera so I could pursue my new passion for doors and sleepy French chats. I so I am about to bore you all with another 60 or so shots of incredible French homes and yes doors.  the River is the Rhone and in days past the side I was on was King Henry's Kingdom of Provence and the other side the Louie's Kingdom of France.  Many of my artist friends and those interested in Van Goh will recognise his painting subjects through out these shots.

Bon Nuie till next time
